Cal-bred Trio in Miss America Division

ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2018) – California-breds Fiery Lady, Lynne’s Legacy and Shehastheritestuff are entered in Saturday’s first division of the $50,000 Miss America Stakes for fillies and mares at Golden Gate.

Fiery Lady is by Unusual Heat, out of the Ride the Rails mare Lady Railrider, was bred by Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams, is owned by Bernardis, Cavalli, McCauley or Mickelson and is trained by Anna Meah. She has five wins in 16 starts, earnings of $120,688 and is coming off a second in a Nov. 29 claimer. She was sixth in this race last year.

Lynne’s Legacy is by Unusual Heat, out of the Steinlen mare Top of Our Game, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Maureen Richardson, Ritchie Robershaw or Steve Rothblum and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She has four wins in 28 starts, earnings of $266,330 and is coming off a fourth in a Nov. 22 optional claimer.

Shehastheritestuff is by Unusual Heat, out of the Bold Badgett mare Strut Your Stuff, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by David Day, Michael Day, Mary Rita DePietro or Doug Phillips and is trained by Patrick Gallagher. She has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $214,797 and is coming off an eighth in the Nov. 9 Kathryn Crosby.
