CALGARY, Alberta (Sept. 16, 2023) – Multiple stakes winner Big Hug, an Alberta-bred daughter of California stallion Mr. Big, won Saturday’s $50,000 Alberta Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Century Downs.
Big Hug, out of the Unusual Heat mare Temeeku, has seven wins in 12 starts, earnings of $191,701 and was coming off a fourth in the Century Casino Oaks.
