WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Sept. 14, 2023) – Stakes winner Big Stretch is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 Manitoba Matron Stakes for fillies and mares at Assiniboia Downs.
Big Stretch is by Mr. Big, out of the Curling mare Mr. Zito, was bred by George Krikorian, is owned by A2 Thoroughbreds and trained by Michael Nault.
She has four wins in 31 starts, earnings of $175,168 and is coming off a third in the Aug. 28 Miss Sandy Dee Stakes.
