ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 18, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduation Lostintranzlation and fellow Cal-bred Blue Diva are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Astra Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Lostintranzlation is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Granny Got Game, was bred by Lilley Ranch, is owned by Hendrickson, Hesz or McClanahan and is trained by Richard Baltas. The $18,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has three wins in 16 starts, earnings of $176,529 and is coming off a seventh in the Nov. 30 Red Carpet.
Blue Diva is by Bluegrass Cat, out of the Quiet American mare Farmers Wife, was bred by BKB Stables, is owned by Frances Rainin and is trained by Ari Herbertson. Six wins in 17 starts, earnings of $167,469 and is coming off win in the Dec. 15 Miss America.
