ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2020) – California-breds Streak of Luck and Super Patriot are entered in Monday’s $100,000 Grade III Megahertz Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Streak of Luck is by Old Fashioned, out of the Elusive Quality mare Valeria, was bred by owner Roncelli Family Trust and is trained by Matthew Chew. She has five wins in 24 starts, earnings of $291,591 and is coming off a sixth in the Dec. 28 Robert Frankel.
Super Patriot is by Unusual Heat, out of the Reddatore mare Patriot C H, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Little Red Feather Racing, Peskoff or Salvatore, et al and is trained by Richard Baltas. She has five wins in 25 starts, earnings of $273,454 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 8 Kathryn Crosby.
