Bulletproof One in Speakeasy Stakes

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 3, 2019) – Multiple stakes winner Bulletproof One, stakes winner Square Deal and fellow California-bred El Tigre Terrible are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Speakeasy Stakes for 2-year-olds at Santa Anita.

Bulletproof One is by Idiot Proof, out of the Decarchy mare Onefunsonofagun, was bred by Victory Rose Thoroughbreds & KMN Racing, is owned by Barber, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners or Wachtel Stable and is trained by Peter Miller. He has three wins in four starts, earnings of $139,400 and is coming off a sixth in the Aug. 28 Generous Portion.

Square Deal is by Square Eddie, out of the Jump Start mare North Freeway, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Arnold Zetcher Racing or Qatar Racing Limited and is trained by Simon Callaghan. He has one win in four starts, earnings of $78,300 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 30 I’m Smokin.

El Tigre Terrible is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Gotham City mare King City Kitty, was bred by Martin Bach, is owned by Slam Dunk Racing or Nentwig and is trained by Peter Miller. He has two wins in four starts, earnings of $58,300 and is coming off a Sept. 1 starter’s optional claimer.
