LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2022) – A California-bred filly by Oscar Performance sold for $120,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale.
The chestnut filly, a first foal out of the winning Giant’s Causeway mare Lime Beach, was bred by Fountain of Youth Breeding, consigned by Brookdale Sales, agent, and was purchased by Gayle Van Leer, agent.
Lime Beach was sold with the filly in utero for $24,000 at the 2020 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Lime Beach sold for $310,000 as a 2-year-old.
