ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2016) – California-breds Smoove It and Stylish in Black are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Buena Vista Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Smoove It is by Square Eddie, out of the Distorted Humor mare Smoove, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She has four wins in 21 starts, earnings of $278,230 and is coming off a fifth in the Jan. 30 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf Sprint.
Stylish in Black is by Street Hero, out of the Dixieland Band mare Juliard, was bred by Sean and Barbara Speck and is trained by Bobby Grayson. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $109,880 and is coming off a second in a Feb. 5 optional claimer.
