ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 18, 2016) – Hot Ore and True Brilliance, sons of Unusual Heat bred by owner Merdeces Stables, are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Baffle Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.
Hot Ore is out of the Tale of the Cat mare Barbara Orr and is trained by Robertino Diodoro. He has one win in six starts, earnings of $84,156 and is coming off a fifth in the Nov. 29 Cecil B. DeMille.
True Brilliance is out of the French Deputy mare Truly Blessed and is also trained by Diodoro. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $56,000 and is coming off a Jan. 23 maiden win.
