Cal-bred Stakes Winners in Ken Maddy

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2019) – California-bred stakes winners Just Grazed Me, Apache Princess and Gypsy Blu are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Senator Ken Maddy Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Just Grazed Me is by Grazen, out of the Cuvee mare Fairway Road, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. She has five wins in nine starts, earnings of $334,332 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 12 California Distaff.

Apache Princess is by Unusual Heat, out of the Indian Charlie mare Puskita, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by J.K. Desormeaux. She has three wins in 12 starts, earnings of $251,162 and is coming off a second in the Sept. 28 Unzip Me.

Gypsy Blu is by Papa Clem, out of the In Excess mare Salty Fries, was bred by Legacy Ranch, is owned by Hailey or Wood and trained by Mark Glatt. She has five wins in 13 starts, earnings of $216,138 and is coming off a third in the Oct. 12 Unzip Me.
