Cal-bred Trio Enters Mt. Rainier

AUBURN, Wash. (July 18, 2019) – California-breds Many Roses, El Huerfano and More Power to Him are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Mt. Rainier Stakes at Emerald Downs.

Many Roses is by Many Rivers, out of the Bertrando mare Heirloom Rose, was bred by Ellen Jackson, Jerry Martin & Margaret Martin, is owned by Chad Christensen and trained by Frank Lucarelli. He has four wins in 22 starts, earnings of $164,759 and is coming off a seventh in the June 30 Budweiser.

El Huerfano is by Tannersmyman, out of the Capsized mare Adriftinthebay, was bred by M.A. Douzos, is owned by Peerenboom-Bowyer Racing Stables and trained by Chris Stenslie. He has nine wins in 44 starts, earnings of $576,866 and is coming off a fifth in the June 30 Budweiser.

More Power to Him is by Slew’s Tiznow, out of the Beau Genius mare Pundit, was bred by owner Brett Mason and is trained by Faith Taylor. He has five wins in 33 starts, earnings of $297,567 and is coming off a second in a July 7 optional claimer.
