Cal-bred Pair in Governor’s Cup

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 18, 2019) – California-breds Vronilla Parfait and Gotham Desire are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 California Governor’s Cup Handicap for fillies and mares at Sacramento.

Vronilla Parfait is by Vronsky, out of the native Prospector mare Deb’s Parfait, was bred by owners Leon Lewis or Bill Hipwell and is trained by Sergio Ledezma. She has five wins in 25 starts, earnings of $174,845 and is coming off a second in a June 1 allowance.

Gothan Desire is by Gotham City, out of the Northern Afleet mare Afleet’s Desire, was bred by Daehling Ranch, is owned by Steve Moger and trained by Ed Moger Jr. She has four wins in 12 starts, earnings of $116,898 and is coming off a third in a June 22 optional claimer.
