DEL MAR, Calif. (July 18, 2019) – Graded stakes winner S Y Sky and fellow California-bred stakes winners Just Grazed Me and Gypsy Blu are entered in Saturday’s $85,000 Daisycutter Handicap for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
S Y Sky is by Grazen, out of the Sky Mesa mare Sky Marni, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. She has seven wins in 13 starts, earnings of $662,320 and is coming off a win in the May 26 Monrovia.
Just Grazed Me is by Grazen, out of the Cuvee mare Fairway Road, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. She has three wins in six starts, earnings of $208,260 and is making her first start since a Dec. 7 optional claiming win.
Gypsy Blu is by Papa Clem, out of the In Excess mare Salty Fries, was bred by Legacy Ranch, is owned by Hailey or Wood and is trained by Mark Glatt. She has five wins in 10 starts, earnings of $193,335 and is coming off a second in a June 14 optional claimer.
