LAUREL, Md. (July 9, 2023) – Stakes winner Cashing Big Checks, a graduate of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association’s January Sale, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Caesar’s Wish Stakes for fillies and mares at Laurel Park.
Cashing Big Checks is by Mr. Big, out of the Indian Charlie mare Palisadesprincess, was bred by George Krikorian is owned by David Bernsen and trained by Lacey Gaudet.
The $1,500 purchase at the CTBA January Sale has four wins in 20 starts, earnings of $212,260 and is coming off a fifth in a June 3 optional claimer.
