ARCADIA, Calif. (May 3, 2023) – Unbeaten Chismosa and fellow California-bred stakes winner Tom’s Regret are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Senorita Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Chismosa is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Cat Dreams mare You Can Dream, was bred by owner Jaime Renella and is trained by Rafael DeLeon. She has won all three starts with earnings of $190,500 and is making her first start since winning the Sept. 5 Generous Portion.
Tom’s Regret is by Tom’s Tribute, out of the Quality Road mare Pure, was bred by DP Racing, is owned by Cinema Thoroughbreds, Beckerle, Michelle K., Carrillo, Saul, Flores, Victor M., Johnson, Burton and Zondlo, Eugene and trained by Steven Miyadi. She has two wins in five starts, earnings of $196,253 and is coming off a second in the Apr. 8 Evening Jewel.
