DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 31, 2022) – Multiple graded winner Slow Down Andy is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade II Caesars Sportsbook Del Mar Derby for 3-year-olds.
Slow Down Andy is by Nyquist, out of the Square Eddie mare Edwina E, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill.
He has three wins in seven starts, earnings of $603,100 and is coming off a second in the Aug. 5 Real Good Deal.
