Everett Nevin Draws Seven California-breds

PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 6, 2023) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Kristin Lee is one of seven California-breds entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Everett Nevin Stakes for 2-year-olds at the Alameda County Fair.

Shady Appeal is by Twice the Appeal, out of the Bandini mare Santa Lucia, was bred by owner Rusty Brown and is trained by Jeff Bonde. He won his lone start June 11 with earnings of $36,600.

Lusma is a filly by Conquest Farenheit, out of the Strike for Glory mare Strike at Daylight, was bred by Rockingham Ranch, is owned by Hector Preciado and is trained by Jose Bautista. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $28,080 and is coming off a May 28 maiden win.

Wild Jewels is by Tamarando, out of the Distorted Humor mare Ribbon of Jewels, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steven Specht. He won his lone start June 25 with earnings of $20,280.

Halo Rando is by Tamarando, out of the Lucky Pulpit mare Halo Darlin, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Seven Specht. He is a maiden making his third start with earnings of $12,480.

Last Call London is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Empire Way mare Zo Lo’s Lov, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Tom London, Lovingier and Eugene Zondlo and is trained by Peter Miller. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $56,120 and is coming off a June 11 maiden win.

Blevy’s Tiger is a filly by Smiling Tiger, out of the Coi mare Recoiling, was bred by owners Martin Bach & Daniel Weiner and is trained by Manuel Badilla. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $31,200 and is coming off a June 10 maiden win.

Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Kristin Lee is a filly by Cat Burglar, out of the City Zip mare Norma, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Robert Jones and trained by Faith Taylor. The $19,000 graduate of the Northern California Yearling Sale won her lone start with earnings of $20,280.
