INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 28, 2013) – Gervinho is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $250,000 Grade I Hollywood Derby at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Gervinho is by Unusual Heat, out of the Out of Place mare Foreverinthegame, was bred by Barry Abrams and Madeline Auerbach, is owned by Keith Brackpool and trained by Carla Gaines.
He has three wins in seven starts, earnings of $287,140 and is coming off a third in the Nov. 1 Twilight Derby.
