LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 1, 2023) – Lil Anthony is the lone California-bred entered in Thursday’s $250,000 Kentucky Juvenile Stakes for 2-year-olds at Churchill Downs.
Lil Anthony is by Anthony’s Cross, out of the Mining for Money mare Lil Nugget, was bred by David Chase, is owned by William Branch and trained by Luis Mendez.
Lil Anthony is also entered in a maiden special weight race at Churchill Downs on Tuesday. Either would be his racing debut.
