LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 1, 2023) – Stakes winner Sassy Nature is the lone California-bred entered in Wednesday’s $225,000 Mamzelle Overnight Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Churchill Downs.
Sassy Nature is by Straight Fire, out of the After Market mare Renee’s Queen, was bred by Straight Fire, LLC, is owned by C T R Stables and trained by Luis Mendez.
She has three wins in six starts, earnings of $156,990 and is coming off a fifth in the Apr. 14 FanDuel Limestone Stakes.
