Lost in the Fog Draws Cal-bred Trio

ALBANY, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2019) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Touched by Autism and fellow stakes winners Summersimage and Tough Sunday are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Lost in the Fog Stakes at Golden Gate.

Summersimage is by Slew’s Tiznow, out of the Siberian Summer mare Summer Swimmer, was bred by owner William Hedrick and is trained by R Perez. He has five wins in 15 starts, earnings of $152,483 and is coming off a second in a Mar. 22 optional claimer.

Tough Sunday is by Grazen, out of the General Meeting mare Sunday Dress, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steve Miyadi. He has five wins in 21 starts, earnings of $360,728 and is coming off a third in a Mar. 22 optional claimer.

Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Touched by Autism is by Sierra Sunset, out of the Beau Genius mare Beau’s Gem, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by Johnny Toboada and trained by Marcia Stortz. The $2,700 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has eight wins in 30 starts, earnings of $270,746 and is coming off a sixth in the Jan. 19 Palos Verdes.
