Mucho Unusual, Warren’s Showtime Clash

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 18, 2021) – Graded stakes winners Mucho Unusual and Warren’s Showtime and fellow California-bred Sedamar are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Buena Vista Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Mucho Unusual is by Mucho Macho Man, out of the Unusual Heat mare Not Unusual, was bred by owner George Krikorian and is trained by Tim Yakteen. She has seven wins in 19 starts, earnings of $822,715 and is coming off back-to-back Grade III wins in the Megahertz and Robert J. Frankel.  She was third in this race last year.

Warren’s Showtime is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Affirmative mare Warren’s Veneda, was bred by Benjamin Warren, is owned by Benjamin and Sally Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has six wins in 16 starts, earnings of $569,431 and is coming off a third in the Jan. 16 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf Sprint.

Sedamar is by Richard’s Kid, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Win Allison Win, was bred by Mick Ruis, is owned by Ruis Racing and trained by Shelbe Ruis. She has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $296,222 and is coming off a second in the Jan. 18 Megahertz.
