Naughty Tiger, Lippy in Evening Jewel

ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 3, 2019) – Stakes winner Naughty Tiger and Lippy are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Evening Jewel Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.

Settle It is by Square Eddie, out of the General Meeting mare Meetmeinthewoods, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She has one win in five starts, earnings of $49,360 and is coming off a Feb. 9 maiden win.

Silk From Heaven is by Richard’s Kid, out of the Hard Spun mare Elegant in Silk, was bred by DP Racing, is owned by Palma or Riggio and is trained by Hector Palma. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $45,000 and is coming off a sixth in the Feb. 18 California Cup Oaks.

Violette Szabo is by Grazen, out of the Sky Mesa mare Sky Marni, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. She is a maiden making her second start.

Stakes winner Naughty Tiger is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Red Giant mare Naughty Nightie, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by Blackburn, Hunt or Mardsen, et al and is trained by Edward Freeman.
