SHAKOPEE, Minn. (May 25, 2018) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Boston Charley is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 Honor the Hero Stakes at Canterbury Park.
Boston Charley is by Rocky Bar, out of the Iz a Saros mare Iza Bon Bon, was bred by Gerald Redman, is owned by Henry Paravecino and is trained by P Fields.
The $55,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has seven wins in 39 starts, earnings of $82,673 and is coming off a fifth in an Apr. 17 allowance.
