BENSALEM, Pa. (May 23, 2023) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Yo Yo Candy won at first asking on Tuesday in the first race at Parx Racing, a maiden special weight for 2-year-olds.
Yo Yo Candy is by Danzing Candy, out of the Two Punch mare Yolando B. Too, was bred by Checkmate Thoroughbreds, is owned by Happy Tenth Stable and trained by Daniel Velazquez.
Yo Yo Candy ran the 4 ½ furlongs in :53.64 and won by three lengths at odds of 3-1 in a field of six.
He sold for $6,000 at the Northern California Yearling Sale and resold for $35,000 at the OBS March 2-Year-Old in-training Sale.
