NorCal Sale Grads in Thunder Road

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduates Take the One O One and Camino Del Paraiso, along with fellow California-bred The Hunted, are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Thunder Road Stakes at Santa Anita.

The Hunted is by Unusual Heat, out of the Jade Hunter mare Lethal Hunter, was bred by M. Auerbach, is owned by Little Red Feather Racing, M. Auerbach or Ciaglia Racing and is trained by Richard Baltas. He has four wins in 16 starts, earnings of $236,514 and is coming off a fifth in the Jan. 18 Unusual Heat Turf Classic, presented by City National Bank.

Camino Del Paraiso is by Suances, out of the Successful Appeal mare Loni’s Appeal, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn, is owned by Glen Road Racing or Paradise Road Ranch and is trained by O.J. Jauregui. The $5,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has five wins in 33 starts, earnings of $318,192 and is coming off a Jan. 4 allowance win.

Take the One O One is by Acclamation, out of the Jump Start mare North Freeway, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Jay Em Ess Stable and trained by Brian Kornier. The $47,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $341,526 and is making his first start since an 11th in the Sept. 2 Del Mar Derby.
