FLORENCE, Ky. (Feb. 22, 2023) – Stakes winner Opening Buzz is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $125,000 Wintergreen Stakes for fillies and mares at Turfway Park.
Opening Buzz is by Stanford, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Open Mic, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jonathan Wong.
She has four wins in six starts, earnings of $152,585 and is coming off a win in the Jan. 28 Wishing Well Stakes.
