CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2020) – A pair of $100,000 juvenile stakes in the Golden State Series are on the schedule for the Los Angeles County Fair Winter Thoroughbred Meet at Los Alamitos, which will be held Dec. 4-20.
The Golden State Series stakes are the $100,000 Soviet Problem – for fillies – on Saturday, Dec. 12 and the $100,000 King Glorious for 2-year-olds will be run Sunday, Dec. 20.
Los Alamitos also will host the $300,000 Grade I Los Alamitos Starlet for 2-year-old fillies on Saturday, Dec. 5; the $200,000 Grade II Los Alamitos Futurity for 2-year-olds on Saturday, Dec. 19; and the $100,000 Bayakoa for fillies and mares on Sunday, Dec. 6.
