CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2018) – California stallion Reagan Republican was represented by his first winner on Thursday when Great Ma Neri won the seventh race at Los Alamitos, a maiden special weight for California-bred fillies and mares.
Great Ma Neri is a 3-year-old filly out of the Comic Strip mare Geocel’s Vismic, was bred by owner George Castanares and trained by Lorenzo Ruiz.
She ran the 5 ½ furlongs in 1:04.56 and won by 3 ½ lengths at odds of 27-1 in the field of nine.
