AUBURN, Wash. (Aug. 8, 2019) – Defending champion Reginella is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Emerald Distaff Handicap for fillies and mares at Emerald Downs.
Reginella is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Cahill Road mare Ghost Tree, was bred by owner DiPietro Thoroughbreds and is trained by Blaine Wright.
She has four wins in 25 starts, earnings of $158,760 and is coming off a fifth in the July 21 Boeing. She won this race last year and was ninth in 2017.
