LEXINGTON, Ky. (Apr. 3, 2019) – Richard’s Boy is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Shakertown Stakes at Keeneland.
Richard’s Boy is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred by Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller.
He has nine wins in 36 starts, earnings of $977,355 and is coming off a second in the Jan. 26 California Cup Sprint. Keeneland will be the 12th track he’s run on.
