LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 28, 2023) — Runaway Storm, a Kentucky bred son of California stallion Midnight Storm, blew the break, circled the entire field then held on for a game win in Saturday’s $297,307 Grade III Bryan Station Stakes for 3-year-olds at Keeneland.
The gelding, out of the Run Away and Hide mare Runaway Betty, has theee wins in five starts and earnings of $288,520.
He ran the mike on turf in 1:35.93 on a good turf course at odds of 20-1 in a field of eight for a head win over odds-on favorite Talk of the Nation.
