ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2018) – Stakes winner Shades of Victory, claimed for $12,500 earlier this year, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade I Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita.
Shades of Victory is by Thorn Song, out of the Street Sense mare Sensible Girl, was bred by C-Punch Ranch and is owned by trainer Reed Saldana.
He has five wins in 18 starts, earnings of $141,449 and is coming off a win in the Sept. 8 E.B. Johnston.
