Stakes Winner Chismosa in Generous Portion

DEL MAR, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2022) – Unbeaten Chismosa, winner of the CTBA Stakes, is the lone stakes winner entered in Monday’s $125,000 Generous Portion Stakes for Golden State Series-eligible 2-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

Smiling Lady is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Pleasantly Perfect mare Banner Elk Lady, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by Phil Lebherz and trained by Andy Mathis. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $21,560 and is coming off an eighth in the Aug 7 CTBA Stakes.

Uncontrollable is by Upstart, out of the Include mare Behavioral, was bred by Fountain of Youth Thoroughbreds, is owned by Mike Repole and trained by Michael McCarthy. She won her lone start July 22 with earnings of $48,000.

Yo Yo Mama is by Conquest Farenheit, out of the Biondetti mare Te Ama Mamo, was bred by Rockingham Ranch, is owned by Brown, Klein or Lebherz and is trained by Brian Koriner. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $26,200 and is coming off a July 29 maiden claiming win.

E Z Pharis is by American Pharoah, out of the A.P. Indy mare Ez Indy, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Lovingier or Griffin Stables and trained by Walther Solis. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $71,760 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 7 CTBA Stakes.

Fun Money is a Florida-bred by California stallion Mrazek, out of the Lucky Pulpit mare Saudi Chroma, was bred by Amy Dunne and Cieran Dunne, is owned by Reddam Racing and trained by Doug O’Neill. She is a maiden making her fifth start with earnings of $38,850.
