Starr of Quality in Santa Margarita

ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2019) – Starr of Quality is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Santa Margarita Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Starr of Quality is by First Dude, out of the Gone West mare Gator Blitz, was bred by Donald Dizney, is owned by Acker or Lindo and trained by Bill Spawr.

She has five wins in 21 starts, earnings of $230,308 and is coming off a second in a Feb. 7 optional claimer.
