Texas Ryano’s First Foal a Filly

RAMONA, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2019) — Williamson Racing LLC and Ballena Vista Farm’s Grade 2 stakes winner Texas Ryano had his first reported foal arrive on January 10 at Ballena Vista Farm.

The filly foal is out of the stakes producing Yes It’s True broodmare Kantstopdancin and was bred by Ballena Vista Farm. The 2019 Texas Ryano filly is a half-sister to the 2018 juvenile  “TDN Rising Star” Mr. Paytience, who earned that status in his debut. Kantstopdancin is a half-sister to Grade 2 winners Striking Dancer and Raymond Tusk. 

Texas Ryano is a son of Curlin and Texas Ryano also was a “TDN Rising Star” in his winning debut and went on to earn Grade 2 black type by taking the Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes for Warren B. Williamson. The Williamson homebred earned additional black type in the John Henry Turf Championship Stakes (Gr. 2), Del Mar H. Presented by The Japan Racing Association (Gr. 2) and the King Pellinore Stakes. Texas Ryano is from the multiple graded stakes winning and graded stakes producing broodmare Blending Element (IRE).

Texas Ryano is standing his second season for $3,500 live foal.
