Touched by Autism in Palos Verdes

ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2019) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Touched by Autism is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Palos Verdes Stakes at Santa Anita.

The stakes-winning Touched by Autism is by Sierra Sunset, out of the Beau Genius mare Beau’s Gem, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by Johnny Toboada and is trained by Marcia Stortz.

The $2,700 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has eight wins in 29 starts, earnings of $270,395 and is coming off a second in a Jan. 10 allowance.
