NEW ORLEANS, La. (Feb. 8, 2020) – Stakes winner Wound Tight is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade III Fair Grounds Stakes.
Wound Tight is by Coil, out of the Mr. Broad Blade mare Bellsblade, was bred by owner Matt Nelson and is trained by R.B. Hess.
He has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $266,340 and is coming off a win in the Jan. 18 Unusual Heat California Cup Classic presented by City National Bank.
