EDMONTON, Alberta (Aug. 22, 2023) – Flashin Aces is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade III Canadian Derby for 3-year-olds at Century Mile.
Flashin Aces is by Danzing Candy, out of the Najran mare Sweet Dreamin, was bred by Kenneth O’Dyen, is owned by Pete Hormes and trained by James Brown.
He has three wins in 12 starts, earnings of $38,671 and is coming off a win in an Aug. 6 claimer.
