ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 10, 2022) — La Vikina is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Miss America Stakes for fillies and mares at Golden Gate.
La Vikina is by Many Rivers, out of the Roman Ruler mare Roman Angel, was bred by owner Julio Enciso and is trained by Isidro Tamayo.
She has four wins in 21 starts, earnings of $124,418 and is coming off a fourth in an Oct. 22 optional claimer.
