(Dec. 9, 2018) —Galilean, who won the Barretts’ Juvenile in his career debut at Los Alamitos Sept. 22, is among 13 nominees to the $100,000 King Glorious Stakes while the undefeated Give Me a Hint tops the 11 2-year-old fillies nominated to the $100,000 Soviet Problem. Both races are at one mile and restricted to horses bred or sired in California. The King Glorious will be run Sunday, Dec. 16, the final day of the Winter meet, while the Soviet Problem will be offered Saturday, Dec. 15. Owned by a partnership that includes West Point Thoroughbreds and trained by Hall of Famer Jerry Hollendorfer, Galilean, a son of Uncle Mo and the El Prado mare Fresia, won the Barretts Juvenile by a neck before finishing second, defeated by a neck, to Cruel Intention in the Golden State Juvenile Nov. 3.
